Julie Besbrode

Julie has 25+ years’ experience in the creative services industry. In 2004 she co-founded and, for the next 10 years, ran The fresh Group – a Manchester based creative events business, encompassing event management, video production, graphic design, digital and exhibition services. Her role as Chief Exec was both operational and strategic. During her time at fresh she grew the team from 4 to 100 people and the business was propelled from a standing start to a £15m+ turnover with an enviable blue chip client base including the likes of: M&S, Tesco, Barclays, The Co-op, Santander and Dixons Carphone. She helped to establish and mentor a strong Senior Management Team and in June 2014, Julie supported the team to complete a private equity backed MBO. After fresh she launched a new career in business consultancy and mentoring, focussing on every day business issues and higher level strategic planning and implementation. She has experience advising a wide range of businesses from start ups and owner managed SMEs to larger corporates and third sector organisations.
